Flattering or Creepy?

Yesterday when Eliannah and I were admiring a bird in a tree, we noticed a friendly looking man smiling at us and taking our picture with his camera phone. Since I am not a celebrity I am by no means used to that happening but since I was in highschool every once in a while a complete stranger will come up to me and ask to take my picture. I can't imagine why anyone would do that, but I'll take it as a compliment ... or is that just weird? what do you think?

very wierd! Not to say that you're not pretty, but just the fact that he's sitting there in his car watching you is creepy!

kinda creepy. that happened to me in Hawai'i, I was swimming in the pool at our hotel and there was a guy with a fancy camera with a long lense on a balcony and he was pointing it at the pool, my sister and I were the only ones in there... I guess it's flattering in a sense, but still creepy!!

I don't think it is about being pretty (unless you are in a swimsuit in Hawaii!). Would you take a picture of a perfect stranger? I've had a woman ask to take my picture too and she spent a couple of min. posing me! I was with my mom so we just laughed about it together.

Ok, who was this guy? Which park were you at? Did he see which direction you went to go home? What did he look like? What kind of car did he have?

Is the Glock loaded?

Creepy. Not that I'm a chick, but I would have wanted Jeannett to bail out of there quickly.

that is kind of weird. but, maybe he thought you were somebody famous. i do think you are a much prettier version of i think it's cynthia neff? (from sex in the city on hbo--i never watched it, but i know who she is.) just a thought. i have a friend who kind of looks like mary stuart masterson, the blonde from fried green tomatoes. one of the ladies in the coffee shop in the village thought she was really her for years!

Joy, I think you mean Cynthia Nixon? The people at my gym swear I'm her (along with some random strangers that will mention it every once in a while). I've checked out her website and I just don't see any resemblance. Oh well.

you're way better looking than Cynthia Nixon. imho.

oh and hi :)
