Ladies .... a little help!!

So Phillip may be going on a very important business trip in about a week or so and as I was perusing his closet I realized it has been way too long since we've purchased him some nice clothing. I tried looking online at a few places but I don't even know what brand names are good for contemporary business wear. I know the labels my dad wore, I know what labels I would wear had I an unlimited clothing budget but what I'm asking is ... Ladies, how do you dress your spouses? (like, dress shirts, dress pants that don't break the bank). I need so much help!!!!

i like gap and banana republic (on sale) for business casual - always classic. but, you'd be amazed at the finds you can score with some searching at ross, marshalls, and tjmaxx. good luck!

i agree with lindsey that you can find some good things at marshalls and ross. i'm not really the one to provide any answers as cade is very casual in his dress, if you haven't noticed--dressing up for him involves wearing a button-up shirt and shoes that aren't open toed. does target have anything that would be dressy enough?

I second TJ Maxx...they usually have great brand name stuff for cheap...just find something classic...no "fun" colors...not too matchy matchy...simple, tailored...

Although, Andy isn't exactly a fashion icon himself...

The problem is that he will be meeting with the 5th richest guy in Korea. We can't afford a $20,000 suit but I don't want him to be embarrassed ... Maybe I'll do some poking around at Ross to see what I can scrounge up.

Have you considered maybe spending a "decent" amount on a better suit...say $300-400? It's a lot, but it would last him a long time...years...especially if you got basic black and then he could just wear different shirts and ties?

I would recommend a suit though now that you mentioned who he'll be meeting with...I don't think he'd be okay with just slacks and a tie...but I only know some of the story. I tend to have the same problem at my job when I meet with developers. I obviously can't afford expensive suits, but I have to present myself in a way that a developer with a $15 million project will trust me with...
