And the diagnosis is ...

Hodkin lymphoma stage 1 or 2.  Caught in the early stages like this my nephew Ryan's prognosis is good as this kind of cancer has a high survivability rate.  He will start chemo tomorrow.  The next few months are going to be hell for him and his family.  Please pray for them when you think about it.

I'm sorry to hear that Jacquelyn. I'm glad we've got the doctors and know-how to give such good odds, but it's still scary. Thanks for letting us pray for him!

I will be praying for Ryan and his family! I was stage 2 and the treatment is hard and intense but it doesn't last forever. Tell him not to eat any of his favorite foods during chemo (it ruins the flavor once treatment is over), use the anti-nausea meds and try to enjoy life on the good days.
