Kid's require need constant surveillance! Being on the phone for 4min and 40 sec when the kids are painting with non-washable blue paint is long enough to get SMURFED! The carpet, their clothing, the table, the wall, the bathroom sink, the bathroom floor and the kitchen floor. You'd think they would know better ... you'd think I would know better.
Of course a thing like this only happens when company is coming over in less than 2 hours .. good thing it isn't anything that 30min of my handy dandy steam cleaner can't solve (thanks for the gift card Auntie Barb!) Traaaalalalalala tralalalala ...

oh no! why oh why do kids love making messes? sometimes i find joy in reminding myself that one day they'll be cleaning up after their own kids...:)
i got your message, and OH MY GOSH I TOTALLY FORGOT TOO! wow, i feel horrible, THANK GOODNESS we BOTH forgot!!! (i'm thinking if i had remembered i would probably have cancelled because of the weather.) at any rate, i'm sorry for forgetting, but glad we both did. :)
let's try to do it when the weather is a little more predictable. also, we missed registration for this session of the library program (bad mommy!), so maybe sometime we could meet up at the a.g. one you mentioned and we could see the exuberant lady for ourselves. :)
